Brighter Futures Performing Arts Academy provides elite intense Dance and Musical Theatre training for those wanting a long successful career in the Professional Industry of Performing Arts. We work with industry experts to provide Dance and Musical Theatre training at its best! We aim to prepare students to embark upon their journey into the world of Entertainment with the knowledge, skills and training required to succeed in the industry.


We deliver a range of performing arts qualifications that cover all areas of the Performing Arts. We have included a short summary below of each qualification, if you would like more information, just click on the course title.


In addition, we are working with industry experts to help deliver our programmes. We have partnered with Jennifer Ellison from the Jelli Performing Arts Academy to provide you with the latest knowledge and skills you need to progress in the performing arts and dance sectors.



Our Qualifications...


BTEC Level 3 90-credit Diploma in Performing Arts

The Performing Arts are a major part of the creative and cultural industries in the UK. It is the second largest sector after Design. Overall, the industry contributes £3.5 billion to the UK economy. The Performing Arts industry employs 148,030 with actors and entertainers accounting for 23% of this total workforce.


The BTEC Level 3 90-credit Diploma in Performing Arts provides a well-established route into a variety of specialist Higher Education (HE) courses in this sector and beyond, and includes:

  • Essential employability skills
  • The ability to apply them to real work contexts
  • Full support from the Creative and Cultural Skills sector skills council

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (QCF)

This course is aimed at learners who have a strong interest in Performing Arts and who wish to learn the craft and business of performing. Under the expert guidance of tutors with current professional experience, learners will develop and hone their performance skills.

  • Auditions for Actors
  • Rehearsing for Performance

Meet our Industry Experts


To help Brighter Futures deliver our Performing Arts qualifications, we are working with Jennifer Ellison from Jelli Studios. Jennifer's accolades in dance include: distinction with the Royal Academy of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association, titles at the IDTA Theatre Dance Championships and being awarded Miss Dance of Great Britain. Jennifer founded her dance academy, Jelli Studios, and has been educating dancers ever since.



To help Brighter Futures deliver our Performing Arts qualifications, we are working with Jane Durkin. Jane is an experienced teacher of performing arts, who naturally has a wealth of knowledge in the performance disciplines. Jane is au fait with delivering BTEC programmes and is the educational lead at Brighter Futures
