Olivia Molyneux – Business Admin Beechwood and Ballantyne HA

Brighter Futures always aims to place our learners into work placements that they shown an interest in when they join. Olivia Molyneux joined Brighter Futures looking to upskill her maths and complete a work placement in an admin role so that she could progress onto a Business Administration apprenticeship following the completion of the programme. Olivia attended her placement with Liverpool Housing Trust where she undertook duties relating to an administrative role and performed so well that LHT offered to employ her as a Business Administration Apprentice with their subsidiary, Beechwood and Ballantyne Housing Association.
"Before I joined Brighter Futures I was still at Woodchurch High School resitting my Maths GCSE. I joined Brighter Futures and completed my Maths and undertook a placement with Liverpool Housing Trust. During my placement I realised how much I like working in the housing industry. Following the work placement I applied for a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship through Sysco with Beechwood and Ballantyne Housing Association and was successful. Now I have a job and am looking forward to completing my apprenticeship and taking the next steps in my career." - Olivia Molyneux
"Olivia first joined us for 4 weeks on a work experience placement and even during this time she was enthusiastic, pleasant and eager to learn. Before this work experience time was over we had already decided that she would be a perfect addition to our team and would not hesitate offering her the position as an apprentice with us. On January 25th she took up her new position as Admin apprentice with LHT based at our Wirral Office and has settled into the team well and we look forward to working with her and helping her to acquire the knowledge and skills she needs as she embarks on her journey and her new career path." - Paulette Connolly BSc. MCIH Neighbourhoods Team Leader, Liverpool Housing Trust
